Secure Premises
Our strategically located facility provides a hub for innovation and efficiency, perfectly positioned to support metro and regional projects with comprehensive storage capabilities.
When railway projects demand precision and expertise, generic equipment providers won’t cut it. With railway knowledge that runs through our organisation like the networks we service, we bring specialised understanding developed across generations to every project.

Located on our secure 5-acre site in Llandilo with easy access to the M7 via Richmond Road, we offer secure, on-site storage solutions for railway infrastructure projects.

Our strategically located facility provides a hub for innovation and efficiency, perfectly positioned to support metro and regional projects with comprehensive storage capabilities.
When railway emergencies occur, every minute counts. Our rapid response capabilities and comprehensive equipment fleet ensure we can mobilise quickly to address critical situations and restore service continuity.

Our strategic locations in Llandilo and Telarah ensure rapid response across our entire service area, with equipment positioned to minimise mobilisation time for emergency situations.

Our rail assistance vehicles prove invaluable in challenging emergency conditions, combining water supply, material transport, and cleaning capabilities in single units.
Unlike general equipment providers who might “just get anyone to work,” our operators represent the next generation of railway specialists. Railway expertise runs deep in our organisation, informing our comprehensive training processes and operational standards.

Our operators are experienced and fully qualified to perform all set tasks, with licences and tickets available upon request. We provide railway-specific training that covers track safety protocols, electrical hazards, and protection officer coordination.

All operators maintain current licences and tickets for their specific equipment types. We provide documentation upon request and ensure all certifications align with Sydney Trains and contractor requirements.
Our specialised plant hire solutions are specifically designed for the confined spaces and unique challenges of railway corridor work, ensuring efficient operation within railway safety protocols.

Railway construction requires precise lifting and positioning of heavy infrastructure components within strict safety and access constraints.
Our fleet of rear-mounted crane trucks covers a wide range of lifting and carrying requirements, from our 24-tonne metre crane truck (4.8-tonne lift capacity) to our 40-tonne metre crane truck (7.5-tonne lift capacity). All units are rail-safe and site compliant with metro-approved units available.

Railway overhead line equipment maintenance demands both height capability and railway-specific safety compliance.
The 450MV sets a new standard with enhanced precision, increased 450kg lift capacity (upgraded from 400kg), and 360-degree cameras for incident investigation and operator training. Its auto-off standby mode improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.

Railway maintenance requires specialised equipment that can operate on ballast without damaging track infrastructure while providing multiple support functions.
Our 4T dump truck Rail Assistance Vehicle (RAV) is purpose-built for rail and civil works. Each unit features a tail lift for safe loading, 1,500L water tank with fire pump and hose, spray bar for dust control, and high-pressure gurney for cleaning.
Our specialised transport solutions address the unique challenges of railway infrastructure work. From high-rail vehicles that operate directly on track to purpose-built trucks designed for railway corridors, our fleet represents the next generation of railway equipment.

Railway infrastructure projects require precise transport of Pre-fabricated Electrified Main Line Equipment Modules (PEM-LEMs) and other critical components during limited possession windows.
Our specialised crane trucks are configured specifically for railway component handling, with carry capacities from 9.5 to 15 tonnes and lift capacities up to 7.5 tonnes. Our operators understand railway corridor requirements and work seamlessly with protection officers to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Accessing remote sections of track efficiently is essential for maintenance schedules and emergency response.
Our high-rail crane truck combines road and rail capabilities with 4-tonne lift capacity, 9-tonne carry capacity, and 7m tray length. Proven on Metro sites, it’s ideal for transporting cable drum stands, handling counterweights, and transporting gear directly along track.

Major possession windows require coordinated mobilisation and demobilisation of multiple equipment types within strict timeframes.
Our comprehensive float truck fleet supports complete possession logistics, from initial setup through clean-up operations. Our beaver tail (12-tonne capacity, 8.2m tray) and tilt tray (11-tonne capacity, 9.2m tray) trucks handle diverse transport requirements efficiently.

Safety isn’t a checkbox for us – it’s how we operate. We maintain comprehensive safety systems specifically designed for railway environments, including detailed protocols for electrical safety, track protection, and emergency response. Our operators undergo regular refresher training, and we conduct thorough equipment inspections before every deployment. We stay current with Sydney Trains safety requirements through regular communication with safety officers and participation in industry safety forums.
We select operators based on both technical skills and their understanding of railway environments. New team members typically have prior experience in either heavy machinery operation or railway work. Our training includes a comprehensive onboarding process covering railway safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency procedures. We’re also planning to build a “dummy track” in our yard for more comprehensive operator training, allowing hands-on experience in a controlled environment.
We primarily service the Sydney metropolitan area and surrounding regions where Sydney Trains operates railway infrastructure. We operate from two locations: our main yard in Llandilo and a secondary yard in Telarah associated with the rail depot. For projects outside these areas, we can discuss mobilisation requirements and timelines during your initial consultation.
Yes, we maintain sufficient backup equipment for critical components of our fleet. In railway work, where delays can cost millions in penalties, this redundancy is essential. Our equipment undergoes rigorous maintenance schedules to minimise the risk of breakdown, but should an issue occur, we can quickly deploy replacement equipment to ensure your project remains on schedule.
Unlike companies that “just throw anyone on” jobs, our operators undergo comprehensive railway-specific training, including track safety awareness, electrical hazards in rail corridors, and coordination with protection officers. We use a structured “buddy system” where new operators work alongside experienced team members for multiple shifts before operating independently. All operators maintain current rail corridor certifications and site-specific inductions.
We understand the critical nature of railway possession windows and can typically mobilise equipment within 48 hours for standard requirements. For emergency response situations, we maintain ready teams and equipment that can deploy much faster. During your initial consultation, we’ll provide specific timeframes based on your project location and equipment requirements.
Our equipment is purpose-built for railway environments, with modifications specifically designed to address the unique challenges of rail corridors. For example, our high-rail trucks feature retractable train wheels allowing them to operate on both road and rail, while our specialised dump trucks use balloon tyres that distribute weight properly on railway ballast to prevent track damage. These railway-specific features enable more efficient operations during critical possession windows.
